Esen graduated from the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) business administration department and continues his grandfather profession as the third generation.

Esen said that they produce boats and sandal shafts close to 4 per year, "We give these to our vendors who sell boat materials in Turkey. Our dealers in Istanbul send the shovels we produce to Germany, Qatar, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Venice. "
